A Feb 2016 study in the International Journal of Impotence Research seems to suggest that men with psoriasis may be more prone to erectile dysfunction.
Since the study looked at a small set of patients (191) its findings can only suggest this possibility and further studies will need to be done to verify the results. Nevertheless, if you are a male who suffers from psoriasis, it is something to bear in mind. Also consider:
- Don’t wait – discuss with your doctor if you are worried
- Keep active and watch your weight, these factors will also affect your sexual function
- Get some sunlight exposure
- Take a daily vitamin D3 supplement
